About the role
Our Marine Service and Aftermarket Upgrade team is looking for a new colleague for a permanent position as Sales Engineer, Upgrades. In this role, you will be responsible for complex upgrade project pro-active sales and technical quotation preparation for upgrade- and modernization projects in close co-operation with the Key Account Management team and Project Managers.
In addition, you will participate in seeking modernization opportunities in our installed base, to meet company’s financial targets.
Key responsibilities for this position include
- Upgrade proactive sales to meet sales targets
- Ensure timely and proper responses to RFQ’s
- Quotation preparation
- Cost and profit calculations
- Customer communication, including sales and negotiations
To be successful in the role you need to have
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or other suitable education
- Sales and customer-oriented attitude
- Proactive way of working and excellent prioritization skills
- Ability to work in a fast-changing environment with tight deadlines
- Great problem solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Fluent and good communication skills in English, both spoken and written, Finnish skills are a plus
- Previous experience with HI-FOG systems and marine business knowledge are a plus
